I'm packing my suitcase to return from a trip somewhere. As usual I'm not quite sure when I'm supposed to be at the airport, I think it's 5 o'clock, a couple hours from now.

My clothes are dirty and I want to wear some clean clothes on the plane, so I look through what I have in my suitcase. My only clean pants are a pair that I got from my friend Mark, which Vera hates, which is why they've remained in the bottom of my suitcase.

Along one wall in the place I'm staying are all these lockers, varying in size from tiny ones to big ones, in a sort of Frank Lloyd Wright pattern of rectangles. The locker cabinet is huge, maybe 12 feet long, and four feet high, with like a hundred lockers. I am concerned that I've left something in there, but I don't have time to search them all. I reason that I would have started by using the largest ones, so I start looking there, and ignore the tiny ones.
