I'm at my work office, and they've decided to reassign workspaces. I've been given a space like a 4-top restaurant table, with two bench seats, where I have one quarter of the table, and other people have the other three quarters. There's just enough space there for a laptop, and it can hardly be comfortable to sit there all day and work.

I'm very mad about this and I address the person in charge, as if in a large meeting with other co-workers, telling them that I can't work in this space. The manager's answer is somehow dismissive, and I say "Don't mock me, you skinny little worm of a man!"

I go on to tell them that this means I'll be writing my resume and looking for another job, and sort of stomp out. As I'm driving away, I remember that I work from home anyway, so there is no reason to be concerned about my office workspace, and I just made a big deal out of nothing.
