I'm in the lower area of our property. Through the tall grass I see an interesting bird, one that I've never seen before. It's huge, and has a nose like a mini elephant trunk. I scramble with my phone to get a photo, but as usual I can't get there in time. Meanwhile another of the birds appears with the first one.

But then they turn into something more like real elephants, but just the front half. They have a head and trunk, and then two legs and their butt and tail. I call them "phants". But then they are marching toward me, and I'm concerned they will step on me, though I'm convinced that they won't do it on purpose. I think they're just indifferent to me, so I kind of crouch near the fence hoping they will just pass. But I end up on my back, with one of their feet resting lightly on my chest. I'm mentally begging the phant not to crush me, and it seems as if he's paused to consider it.
