I'm going on a day hike with Steve and some others. They've already gone up the trail, but I'm back at the car. I'm trying to decide where to park - there are various places, but I don't trust that they're not offending somebody by being too close to their tent or something.

I finally park and I'm rummaging around in the car. It's nearly 4pm, so remembering a lesson (from real life, a few weeks ago), I grab a small flashlight. Also I've got a few pocketknives in the car, so I'm bringing them just in case - not the biggest one, just a next smaller one and a little one, or something.

It's pretty much dark now, and I'm worried about Timmy, who has got out of the car and is running around. There are big trucks on the road, but he seems to be being smart about them.
