I'm in my parents' room, and we're trying to put together a couple of jigsaw puzzles. Apparently a long time ago dad and mom put these puzzles together and some very scary things happened. I think that's why we're putting them together.

I'm skeptical, so I ask dad what was so scary. He said things were disappearing, even people who were with them, gone without a trace. He sounded very sincere. He's not helping in the project, just passing by.

I have to sleep in the same room with the half-assembled puzzles.

(note: I watched Simpsons this evening, and they too were putting together a puzzle. Hmm...)
