It's christmas, and we're at the beach. I go with mom down to a little pond for some sort of celebratory preparation, and find an old rickety dinghy there. While mom is doing something by the riverside, I work out how to use the boat.

The first couple of times I get in it, the boat immediately sinks and I have to pick it up and dump the water out. Then I figure out a technique where I can stand at the back and paddle and it works great.

Dad shows up and says there's a really cool hurricane out in the ocean, and if we go down to the beach we can see it. Everybody hurries down th trail, and I paddle along the stream, practically skating on the water.

We get to the beach, and look at the hurricane, which is just a bump on the water. It seems to be some special kind of hurricane which is basically under the water.
