Gunman and Stereo TroublefritzSep 6, 2007

I'm living in a bland brown apartment, which appears nearly empty. Outside in the courtyard is a man with a gun, and he is very threatening. He seems to be just looking for people to kill, and everybody is running away.

He comes toward our door, and I immediately jump up and set the deadbolt, just in time. He starts pushing and pounding on the door. The lock is loose and appears like it won't hold for very long, but maybe he'll just go to the next apartment. But he's still trying to break in.

I run toward the back of the house for a gun. In the front room I am slow and can't get going, but then I break out of it and rush to the back. I fumble for my guns, which are locked up and basically useless. Then I see out the window that the killer has passed, and people are milling about in the courtyard. I think he went through another apartment to the back of the complex.

Then I'm explaining to someone how I dealt with the situation. They ask what good the guns would do if they had trigger locks, and I think they might have threatened the killer away. But then, his gun didn't have a trigger lock, so he might just shoot me. Anyway I saved everybody by quickly setting the deadbolt.

Then there's another situation at my grandmothers. I'm setting up my laptop on the table in the living room, and trying to get some music to play. There are a couple of different stereos in the room, and I can't figure out how they're connected, but they are playing. I'm thinking I should listen on headphones so that mom and grandma don't have to listen to my music. Steve is coming later, I think.
