I'm at the Washington Square Mall. An announcement is made on the Public Address system advising everyone not to leave the building because of terrorist danger. We all hang around inside, looking out the glass doors. A rumor is going around that we're sitting ducks - the terrorists are going to blow up a dam and flood the mall, killing us all.

Our view looks across a gully to a high embankment on the other side, where a crowd has gathered, including many families of the mall prisoners, who heard about the situation on the news. A large group breaks from the mall, rushing across the gully and up the embankment to escape. I watch, wondering if they are going to get mown down by bullets.

Off to the left, two helicopters appear, but they are small homebuilt contraptions. I believe these two are the perpetrators of the crime. One copter is very cheap and rickety, and looks like it barely flies. The other looks well-built, armored, and formidable; I think it might have guns and be quite capable of damage.
