Helping Dena Across a Ravine | | fritz | Oct 22, 2007 | Dena and I are taking a lunch break from our work in the fields. We're holding hands, walking up a hill to where we'll eat lunch. Holding her hand feels awkward. We get partway up the hill before I realize that I've forgotten to bring my lunch, and we have to go back down and get it.
Going down, we have to cross a deep ravine with large rocks on either side. It's slightly difficult to cross, and Dena isn't sure how to do it. I go first, which requires passing around one rock to the side, then putting my feet across the ravine, turning around with my hands on the rock and then pushing myself into a standing position on the other side. I get across, and then help her. I remember the black shirt she was wearing. | Next: Computer, Audio, and Clutter |
