Tile Game and Fish Feeding | | fritz | Jan 26, 2008 | I'm playing a game with Wade in my grandmother's living room. There is a thin tan blanket on which are printed squares about a foot on a side, each with mysterious icon pictures representing a clever two-word phrase. We're supposed to look at the tiles and guess the phrase.
My apartment is adjacent to a lake, and the water level is halfway up my windows, so that I can see above and below the water. I have my same fish in a fish tank, and a whole other set of the same fish in the lake, but larger. I'm showing them to a group of people, I think my siblings.
I want them to see me feed the fish, so I get their food and also some bread, which I tear up in little pieces. I get in a boat and paddle into the lake and throw the bread in. But then some seagulls and crows show up and start stealing the bread and making terrible noises. I want to hurry and feed the fish before the troublemakers take over. | Next: Noah's Phone |
