Not All Music and WomenfritzFeb 25, 2008

A girl named Sam has moved in with my parents, and we have some sort of romantic relationship. I'm trying to figure out how to come out there and stay for a bit to be close to her, without being too obvious.

It turns out to not be my parents' house, but a house where I have rented room for a musical studio. I apparently rented this studio room in a similar way many years ago, and some of the same people are still around.

The woman of the house, a thin woman a few years older than me, comes by the doorway of the studio and greets me, asking, "Do you remember the green T-shirt I used to wear when you guys were working in the studio?". No, I don't remember the shirt. She tells me it said "Life isn't all music and women."

Part of the house is some sort of medical clinic, which is busy with nurses and patients, and the woman is the doctor in the clinic. I can see her from the studio doorway, but there are people demanding her attention. I'm trying to tell her that I realize that, but it's just the way my life happens to be at the moment.
