Spectacular Rocks, and Encumbered DownclimbingfritzMay 26, 2008

I've found some really interesting rocks around this pool. They are a sort of composite, full of bright colorful gems, and when you shake them, the gems ripple and reverberate for a minute or so. Some of the walls are made of these rocks, and they sparkle beautifully when you perturb them. The larger ones seem slightly soft.

I've found two small ones of my own, which I want to take home. But as a sort of a test, I set them into the dirt of the hill to see how they respond with the rest of the rocks of the hill, and I forget where I put them. I look all over the wall but I can't find them.

There is a pool, around which are many rock walls, interspersed in dry grass, and I start going around the pool looking for my rocks. J is there, and she helps me look.

I try to talk to her, but there is loud heavy metal playing from this bright yellow inflatable apparatus that I'm wearing around my neck, but surrounds most of my upper body. I turn off the music, explaining "I love heavy metal, and I'm happy and proud to listen to it. But there are some times that it just doesn't fit in the situation."

Next we come to a wall of black volcanic rock, which we have to downclimb. I go down first, but it makes me nervous because of this yellow inflatable thing, which restricts the movement of my arms, making climbing difficult and less secure. But I have no particular trouble, and as I climb I am thinking how odd it is that J and I are back together, when it seemed not long ago that we were so unconnected. It was the sex that did it, I think.
