Everybody Ignoring GeorgefritzJul 15, 2008

I'm in an apartment, apparently preparing to leave. The apartment is divided in two by a partial wall, with openings around both ends, so the living room is on one side and the dining room on the other. Everything is in plain beige.

There is no furniture in the apartment except a table in the dining room, and there sits George Bush. He is talking loudly as if making a speech, but nobody is listening. A few other people are there, also gathering up to leave, and every is ignoring George, as though he is just an old fool in his own little world.

He says "I trust the American people!", and then repeats it in a tone that sounds typically Bush, completely ungenuine. I interrupt him - "people who actually trust the American people don't have to say it!" but he doesn't even pause, just continues with his speech.

(my radio alarm was playing the real Bush speech)
