Alien Grandma Gets SickfritzSep 29, 2008

I've arrived to pick up grandma and take her to a museum, with Bill B. from work. We're at a place that looks like a restaurant, with lots of empty tables.

She suddenly turns into a small alien being about the size of a cat, with big bug-eyes, and lies on her back on the floor. There's a strange green froth around her mouth and she seems to be suffering some sort of attack. Several strangers gather around and I yell at them to call 911, right away, call 911. Then I realize that I want 911 to have my number in case they want to call back, so I try to dial it with my phone, but I get a message displayed on my phone that says that 911 only works on land-based phones.

The alien grandma thing appears lifeless at that point so I think I should take her pulse. I'm a little squeamish about touching it, but I get over it and find its wrist, and am surprised to feel a strong, steady pulse, and then she wakes up. She moves to a chair to recover, but I think maybe we'll have to cancel the museum date.

The a large group of relatives arrives, an uncle I don't know, and his wife and a large group of kids, at least a dozen in all. The kids are running around, the adults find places at the tables, and the whole group makes a lot of chaos. It doesn't seem like a restful environment for grandma, so I'm thinking maybe it'll be better to go to the museum just to get away from them.
