I'm at a pub, with a group of people including a married woman with whom I'm having an affair. Her husband is there too, and I'm surprised what a nice guy he is, quite different than who I'd taken him to be. He sits far across the table, and I sit next to the woman.

I think that perhaps I'm too close to her, and it may be suspicious. So I get up and move to the other side of the table, carrying a drink and conversing jovially with the group all the way. I sit down and talk to the husband, and those around him, while the woman and her clique carry on a separate conversation.
