I've arrived at a party, apparently thrown by Brandt, but he lives in a rather crappy old yellow house. It seems that the party was supposed to be a potluck, so he didn't provide any food, and nobody (including myself) saw fit to bring any.

Soon after I arrive, everybody leaves, apparently to go get some food. I don't have time to wait around for them, so I start to go home. The house is in southeast Portland, and apparently my truck is over near Burnside, so I figure I'll walk over there and get my truck, and then drive it home. Then I decide I can run, so I start jogging in that direction.

I go down this path between houses and discover some huge blackberries, larger than golf balls. It seems strange because it's winter. I pick a few to eat, and think that I should bring mom back here and pick some more.

I arrive at a house on Burnside, or thereabouts, and climb into bed. Wade apparently lives there, and he comes in while I'm sleeping. I wake up and tell him that I've mostly been living in "the other house" on the other side of the river.

Since I'm awake, I think I'll go back to the party. I've got some other plans, but I can work everything out if I just stop by for a while.
