I'm just bringing a new fish into the house, a Betta that needed a home, that I have rescued from somewhere.

As I carry it into the living room, it suddenly jumps through the air (*) and sticks to the side of the fish tank, which is oddly placed to my left, and starts attacking my existing Betta through the glass, somehow. I pull it off, and it seems to be trying to bite me, and falls on the floor. I pick it up, all dry but still aggressive, and try to get it in water but it just keeps attacking my other fish. In the end it kills one of them, a pale-colored one, which is all chewed up and dead, but then settles down.

Then I'm maintaining a huge tank, chest-high and bigger than a car. There are many fish in it, different kinds in different schools, and it seems they are hungry and I have been abandoning them. I pour in another school of fish from a box; I'm not sure if they are alive or not, but I figure that even if they are dead they will be food for the others.

*: The motion of the fish across the room was as though summoned by a magnetic force. I think I got this idea from a piece of lint that flew across the room several feet to a sweater as I was taking it out of the dryer, a day or two before this dream. It was amazing that it would fly so far directly horizontally, nearly three feet, so I repeated the action several times.
