In one dream, I am driving alone at night, and I've stopped at a big market and deli for some food. I'm gathering packaged things, and ordering hot things through the glass, and preparing for long straight hours on the on the highway.

In another, I have driven with somebody a long way south, and then taken a loop to the east to form a reversed letter J, with our destination at the the tip. It's evening now and it must be Natasha because she's insisting that we go back the way we came, even though I believe there is a straighter way, although more desolate. I know there is a town just up ahead, and we'll exit there and look for someplace to get some dinner. We negotiate that if we find a good dinner, then we'll head on that way, and if not, we'll have to go back the way we came.
