I go to church, for what reason is unclear. But it appears to be a regular Sunday morning service. I enter with some people, and I see Dave and Joe up near the front. I go and sit with them because I want to sing harmonies with them.

Turns out I'm very close to the front, sort of at the immediate flank of the preacher, a young and exuberant fellow, but facing him. I feel rather conspicuous. There are two of us, both men, on my side, and two women on the other side. I realize that I know the girls from years back - in the dream both are named Michelle, and I went to high school with them (except one I think was really named Jenny). I think this may have become a lucky turn, as I would like to reacquaint with them. I look for wedding rings, and they both have them.

The preacher preaches words from the radio.
