I'm driving up Bell Road toward my parents' house. I am in the right lane, parallel to another car that is in the left lane, going the same speed.

I see a car approaching from a side road on the right, and I fall back a bit to give the boxed-in car beside me some room to swerve, as I think it might be necessary. Nonetheless the oncoming car noses into the road and the other car strikes it hard, flipping over frontward, turning rather round and rolling many times over, spreading debris all over the road.

There's another car behind me, and I expect that she it will stop to warn other cars to stop before entering the debris, and I'll cruise up to the other end, block with my car and help the passenger. But I can't communicate my plan, and the other car cruises on past me up to where the wreck lies. So I pull over in the debris field and get out to run up there and help.

When I get out, I notice that I'm actually driving Natasha's wrecked car, seeing first the dent in the trunk and the broken taillight. Then I see that the whole side of the car is smashed, so that can barely get the driver's side door open. I'm trying to hurry and run up there to help the driver who is probably severely injured, but I am getting all muddled. I take off my leather jacket and struggle with the broken door, manage to throw the jacket on the passenger seat, and just can't seem to get out of there, even though I am telling myself that nothing is so important. Another car comes up the road into the debris, another annoyance that I think I have to deal with, but this time I just wave and run up the road toward the wreck.
