I Guess I Don't Need My Homework TodayfritzApr 13, 2009

I appear to be at Newberg High, where I went to high school. I'm with two of my siblings, or maybe Sheleen. There are other students standing around outside a building. I left my homework for a math class at home.

I want to run home and get it, or get something and then copy the homework from somebody, but this appears to mean that they will have to go home with me. I have a half hour before class; it seems like just enough time to run home, copy what I need, and make it back to class just in time. But my sibling don't think it's worth it, and we might not make it back.

As we're discussing this, suddenly - crack, crack - two shots ring out, and two unfamiliar students drop to the ground. Before anybody can figure out what is happening, there is another shot, another student falls, and then everybody realizes, and dives for the nearest point of cover.

I slide up against a wall and look for the shooter. Two more shots, and two more students go down as I sneak around the corner, hiding behind some bushes by the building. Suddenly I see a guy coming straight at me, pistol pointed. I run toward him, but in a lateral zig-zagging pattern, dodging and jumping to make myself difficult to aim at, just like in Team Fortress (the first-person shooting game). He aims at me, but his gun just clicks several times as he pulls the trigger, like it is out of bullets and needs to reloaded. I kick it out of his hands and onto the ground, stepping on it as I grab him and try to hold him immobile.
