I've got two tanks of fish. One is in the usual place in the living room, and I've just added two fish to it, I think from the other tank. They are large flat fish, like skates or flounder, and they cling to the sides of the tank. They are bigger than my hands, much larger than the other fish, but the other fish seem to be eating them, nibbling on their wings, and I wonder if they will be ok.

I go to the other tank, which is in the dining room, in the corner near the door. I realize that I've forgotten that tank for weeks. I can't even remember when I last fed them or checked their water. I think there must be fewer of them because they must have eaten each other. The water is very low, the fish are crowded and some of them are half out of the water in puddles on rocks that stick out from the half-empty tank.
