Misha's "Work Done", and Old Stuff at the Old HousefritzJun 16, 2009

I went to visit Misha in her apartment, don't remember why. Later I'm in the redroom at my parents' house, watching a slideshow projected on the wall above the fireplace (which wouldn't be possible because there's a mantlepiece there, but anyway), and an old picture of Misha crops up. I mention to my mom that I visited her, and that "I think she had some work done", referring to cosmetic surgery, a boob job or something. Mom says not exactly, pointing downward with her finger as if to indicate some "work done" elsewhere.

Then I've moved back into the house on Garden Home Road. The bedroom in the back is a no-man's land abandoned storage room, full of my old junk that has apparently been there since I moved out. To the left of the door and very low is a rough bathtub, as if carved out of concrete, that looks like it's never been used. There is a tall dresser in that room, full of my old clothes. I'm excited about that, as there will be a few items that I will be glad to have again, but mostly it will go to Goodwill and I can have the dresser for my clothes. The first two things I pull out are a good sweatshirt and a pair of workout pants that I like.

(a recent real-life project has been unpacking boxes of old clothes that I packed away for the remodeling project, and deciding what to keep and what to discard, with the feeling that the stuff should mostly go, since I haven't needed it in the last 8 months.)
