I'm biking out to lunch with a group of people from work. It's a hot place on the east coast, and I can see for miles down the straight road, to the beach in the distance. For some reason I'm being left behind. Tom W and a group of about five bikers are ahead on the next hill, and I am with one other slower biker.

Then I realize that I forgot something, and there's no reason to go with them anyway. I go instead to my house, which is somewhere near to our path of travel. My house is a small place which seems new to me, like I just moved in recently.

Some people stop by in a Toyota 4Runner, I think including Minda, and pull two long things, like car bumpers, out of the canopy. They're mine, and they just took the opportunity to drop them off. I have to find someplace in my small house to put them.
