I am leaving for New Zealand forever. I keep saying that to people, saying goodbye. I will never see any of them again.

I am leaving at about 5pm today, and apparently somebody is coming later to box up and ship my stuff. At my parents' house, somebody picks up an amplifier head and asks me where to put it. I tell them to put it in the pool room, which is now my music studio, thinking that finally it will be reunited with the other instruments, a vague increase in organization.

Jacki is sitting at a table and I say goodbye to her briefly. Later I realize I really want to talk to her before I go, and tell her that she was the only girl I ever really loved. But now she's talking to someone else, sitting at her table, and I can't interrupt. I mill around a while waiting for her to finish, but the conversation continues.

It's night, in a city, and I see Deborah H, and her sister (no such person in real life), who had lost some weight but apparently gained again, and now leans shyly against a wall. I give her a big hug and say goodbye.
