I'm at a large indoor pool, as though it is a party, perhaps for my birthday. There are tons of people there, all my friends, everybody swimming or sitting and chatting on a bleacherlike area overlooking the pool. Everybody is having a great time, and I seem to be the center of attention.

Above the pool, I sit down and talk to someone I knew way back in my childhood, perhaps Doug Torgeson. It's interesting to see him after all these years.

In one corner of the room is a video screen, and it's playing loud pop music that is adding to the party atmosphere. It comes to the end of its cycle and goes quiet, so I tell Doug I'll come back and talk to him later, go find the remote and change it to a selection of videos by The Cure.

A lot of the people start getting out of the pool and walking across a field to another part of the party. It seems like I ruined the atmosphere. I turn off The Cure and go back to a selection of discolike tunes, like it was playing before, and the wave of people crossing the field seems to turn around and head back to the pool.
