I'm riding a unicycle, quickly and expertly. I'm going somewhere across town. Somebody asks me, or I ask myself, how I learned to ride to unicycle so well. I seem to remember long ago, trying it (in real life) and having no success at it. But now it seems like I've always known, it just comes naturally.

This seems to be new to me. I wonder if I get going too fast downhill, if I will be able to keep up with the pedals. But I discover that my pedals are not "fixies", but allow me to coast. It's surprisingly easy, and fun.

I come suddenly to a bridge, which is blocked, so I expertly spin off the road and cruise across the grass for a while, until I come to a bend in the river that I cannot pass. Then I stop and get down off my cycle to look for a different route.
