I'm out at my parents' house, involved in an Easter Egg hunt. I remember that I usually hide the eggs, but this time I didn't. And they are in such easy places, I see them everywhere, though the kids can't seem to find them. I can't help grabbing them and putting them in my basket, which is a small thing without a handle, about the size of a soup bowl.

I keep finding clusters of candies in the trees, by the handful. I'm amazed that they aren't better hidden, but I am compelled to grab them. My basket gets full to overflowing, so I put it in a blue grocery bag with handles, and start filling that.

I realize that it will look selfish if I come into the house with a huge bag of candy, so I plan to put the bag in my Subaru before going back in, and take just the little bowl-basket with the expected amount of candy.

(Note that it is just a couple days after Halloween, and I am managing a slight candy surplus.)
