Subaru Express in Snowy Newberg | | fritz | Nov 25, 2009 | I'm driving into Newberg from Rex Hill, and it suddenly becomes very snowy, probably a foot or so deep, and the Subaru slides around the road. I slow down, but too late - a cop parked on a side street already saw me, and has pulled in behind me. It seems unfair to harass me about speeding when I just came into this snow.
The cop doesn't pull me over. I turn into a neighborhood that is on the right and park at the house of somebody I know. The house is empty, and nobody lives there any more.
I'm going to have to leave the car there because of the snow, but it has now become my surrey, the "Lester Express". I'm a little concerned about leaving it there, not so much because it might get stolen, but also because it might get abused, or someone might tag it with graffiti. | Next: Fire Behind Her |
