A Rabbit Worth Yelling About | | fritz | Apr 28, 2006 | I'm walking out by the barn at my parents', early in the morning, and I see a very large rabbit, almost the size of a horse. I go back to the house to find something to give it to eat, and although it is shy, it seems almost to follow me, perhaps sensing my idea.
I go to the refrigerator and pull out some spinach and a piece of onion. I'm not sure what the rabbit will like, but I want at least two things for him.
As I'm on my way out the door, I slam the door a little too loud, and I am concerned about awakening Natasha and Alona, who are apparently sleeping. Then Silas comes out and starts yelling at the top of his lungs. I am trying to quiet him but can't get a word through his noise, then mom shows up, loudly scolding both of us, and at the very same moment I reach out and slap Silas sharply across the face. Everything goes quiet and I explain in a whisper about the huge rabbit outside. | Next: Equation Says You Brought the Frogs |
