I'm carrying a paper bag full of something, when a small tear forms in the bag and the contents start coming out. It's rough stuff, like small shards of broken glass. I carry it carefully, holding my hand over the hole, but after it's delivered I still have to go back and clean up the mess. Several people come with me, perhaps my mother and one of my sisters.

The glass fell into some barkdust, and I try picking it out, but I get a large piece of glass deeply embedded in my thumb. I pull it out, and it happens again. Then I get a cluster of splinters from the barkdust in my skin, and I have to pull those out one by one. Ouch!

I'm thinking we'll just have to sweep the whole thing, glass and barkdust and all, into a pile and throw it away.
