lucy A | excellent british film about a talented indian girl and her semi-traditional family living in britain. looks like football (soccer) movie but don't be deceived by the movie box. it's not hokey and the action shots are done quite well. funny at times but turn the volume up--accents are either british, indian, or irish and very thick. lots more to the story and an interesting making-of if you get it on dvd. just a great film--shows lots of indian culture and girls in shorts. |
