I am in a strange town, and I've rented a couple of small local horses. One is black and one is red, and both are entangled with a mess of bridle gear.

First they escape, somehow, but they run not far away and join a pack of wild horses that wanders the town. I find them and lead them away. One of them poops and I ponder how to deal with it; with a dog, you'd pick it up, and it seems it should be cleaned, but how can it practically be done?

I have a van, and it seems I take them there and put them in it, but it's too crowded for them. I let them out and try to get their tack disentangled. It's all over everywhere and there are several blankets tangled up in it that I suspect are making the horses uncomfortable in this hot weather.

They manage to run away again, but this time I can't find them. I try to call out to them but since I didn't have names for them, I'm not sure what to call. I make up names, I think "Blackie" and "Reddie".
