I'm in a car with an unfamiliar girl who is apparently a dating candidate. She is talking, and in the middle of her sentence she trails off into a language that I don't understand, her speech becoming more animated and enthusiastic in spite of her knowing that I cannot understand her; in fact, that seems to be the point, to impress me. I respond very aggressively and sarcastically, something like "yeah, I'm really impressed, you can talk another language, wow you!"

We meet up with some other people around a table, and I am similarly being harsh to this girl, though I like her, I'm just being assertive and critical to get her to do what I want. Then we are standing around talking about where to go to eat. Another girl suggests a place, which sounds good but isn't familiar to me. I don't think I say anything, but I think I always know the best places to eat around here, so it's a little odd that I don't know that one.
