My brothers Joe and Dave arrive unexpectedly, and seemingly somewhat inconveniently, at my house. They are soaking wet from some adventure, and of course I let them in and give them hospitality and dry shirts. Joe is excited to show me what he got, a pigeon launcher for shooting, with three different tiers for different launch characteristics.

Then there is a car crashed outside my house, my old house on Garden Home Road. It's an older car, like an American one from the fifties with a round top. At first it seems to be simply in the ditch, so I get my truck out to pull it out. But when I get closer, it is clearly on its top, and balanced so that it swivels easily. Even pushing on it with hands just spins it around, and obviously pulling with the truck won't work. So I am devising a way to wrap the tow rope all the way around it, over the top, so as to turn it over while pulling. Unfortunately, I never got to see if it worked.
